This is how it works:

When you place an order of eligible items of (excluding GST) $500.00 or more (also not including loyalty pricing, vouchers, credits etc), the order will qualify for ‘FREE DELIVERY’ within Australia to a maximum freight cost of 10% of the value of the order.

Regrettable, due to the size of Australia as well as the types, sizes and weights of the products and equipment we sell, it's not always possible to offer Free Delivery for all orders, we wish were able to simplify this critical part of doing business.

Should the calculated delivery allowance exceed 10% of the value of the order then the balance of the delivery charge will be at your cost. We will endeavour to contact you before the order is dispatched if additional charges apply.  The Free Delivery Offer is to a maximum included freight charge of 10% of the value of the order.

Here is an example: 
An order of $500 where the calculated freight cost is $100, the maximum included freight allowance is $50, therefore the short fall of the delivery charges will be at your cost.
