The Gann BL Uni 11 Gann BLA Plus Restorers Moisture Detection Kit is the next step up for measuring a range of situations in restoration jobs such as non invasive measurements of structural moisture, non invasive and invasive wood moisture, surface temperature, material temperature and air temperature/humidity. It contains two moisture measuring devices and a range of accessories.
Great for the Wood Drying Specialist.
This kit includes:
Gann BL UNI 11 Multifunctional Measuring Device
The BL UNI 11 unit is a universal measuring device for structural moisture, humidity and temperature.
The Auto Sensor Technology used by the BL UNI 11 enables the moisture meter to automatically detect the electrode connected and to adapt the measured value readout to the respective probe type.
For non-destructive moisture measurement and moisture indication in ceilings, walls, floors and other building materials, our capacitive B 55 BL structural moisture probe can be connected. The meter features preset characteristic curves for several building materials - measured values will be displayed directly (weight-% or CM-%).
In the field of humidity, a large number of electrodes can be connected, including the TF-IR BL, which enables a quick and reliable assessment of dew point undershoots by a combination of different measuring techniques.
Also, our electrodes of the RH-T 37 family can be connected. In addition to humidity and air temperature, sorption isotherms of many materials can be displayed directly in weight-%.
A TF-stick can be connected directly to the device (e.g., for measuring the room climate) or via an extension cable. This allows the TF-Stick to be used in building materials (sorption isotherms).
In addition to air temperature, surface temperatures and material temperatures (on a Pt100 basis) can be measured.
Particularly suited to for air conditioning technicans, surveyors who evaluate damage caused by water, insurance companies, and as a supplement for a wood moisture meter.
Gann BL A Plus Wood Moisture Meter
The possibilities offered by high-precision resistance-based measurement method and the non-destructive capacitive measuring method are now combined in one compact measuring instrument: the BL A plus wood moisture meter. It is perfectly suitable for determining the moisture content of sawn timber (up to 180 mm thick), chipboard and veneer.
The moisture meter is equipped with a high-quality measuring amplifier and an OLED display. The new ResCap mode combines the reliability of the resistance-based measurement method with the easy handling of the capacitive measuring mode.
The resistance-based measuring mode features a wood species selector for more than 300 species as well as a temperature compensation device, which is manually adjustable.
The capacitive measuring method enables fast measurement, for it is not necessary to drive any electrodes into the wood. Wood species correction is available for more than 50 species.
Limit values can be set freely. If a measured value crosses such a threshold, the meter will indicate this through a flashing LED.
Gann B 55 BL Sensor Probe
The B 55 BL probe is an electronic structural moisture indicator for non-destructive measurements in building materials. The probe uses the capacitive radio frequency principle of measurement.
The versatile ball sensor is used to sense moisture in building materials of any kind as well as to determine the moisture distribution in walls, ceilings, and floors.
The Auto Sensor Technology used enables the moisture meter unit to automatically detect the probe connected and to adapt the measured value readout to the respective sensor type.
The B 55 BL probe is an ideal pre-tester for all CM measurments and resistance-based meters.
Gann TF-IR BL Sensor Probe
The TF-IR BL is a combined probe that can be used to simultaneously perform climate measurements (air humidity and air temperature) and infrared surface temperature measurements. This combination of the different measuring techniques enables the TF-IR BL probe to be used for quickly and reliably assessing dew points undershoots or determining borderline conditions on surfaces such as walls, ceilings, floors as well as on window or door lintels.
The probe has an audible signal for the detection of critical surface temperatures.
When using the probe in due time mould formations (fungal growth) may be prevented and occurrence of moistening caused by condensation may be assessed reliably.
Gann M 18 Ram-in Electrode
The M 18 is a ram-in electrode for measuring wood moisture. It is based on the resistance principle of measurement and can be connected to all corresponding measuring devices.
The electrode is suitable for measuring the moisture in thick wood and in hardwood (up to 180 mm).
The user should put his palm on the top of the electrode to keep it in its position. Then it be rammed into the wood by moving the handle up and down.
Gann M 20 Drive-in Electrode
The M 20 is a drive-in electrode for measuring wood moisture and building moisture. It is based on the resistance principle of measurement and can be connected to all corresponding measuring devices.
The electrode is suitable for measuring the moisture of sawn timber (up to 50 mm in thickness), chipboard or OSB, and parquet for example. By means of a suitable impact device (e.g. a hammer), the electrode can also be driven into hard woods such as beech.
It can also be used for measurements in soft set building materials (e.g. plasters, gypsum or aerated concrete) as well as insulating materials.
