The Gann Technician 3-in-1 Moisture Detection Kit is an ideal restoration starter kit for non invasive structural moisture measurements, invasive wood moisture measurements and air temperature/humidity measurements. It contains three moisture measuring devices and accessories.
This kit includes:
Gann BL Compact B2 Structural Moisture Meter
The BL Compact B 2 unit is an electronic structural moisture indicator for non-destructive building material moisture measurement. The meter uses the dielectric constant / radio frequency principle of measurement. The versatile ball sensor is used to sense moisture in building materials of any kind as well as to determine the moisture distribution in walls, ceilings, and floors.
The BL Compact B 2 unit is an ideal pre-tester for all CM measurments and resistance-based meters.
Gann BL Compact TF-IR 2 Climate and Infared Measuring Device
The BL Compact TF-IR 2 unit has sensors for surface temperature infrared measurements as well as for measuring air temperature, and air relative humidity. This combination of the different measuring techniques enables the TF-IR 2 to be used for quickly and reliably assessing dew points undershoots or determining borderline conditions on surfaces such as walls, ceilings, floors as well as on window or door lintels.
The moisture meter has an audible signal for the detection of critical surface temperatures.
When using the probe in due time mould formations (fungal growth) may be prevented and occurrence of moistening caused by condensation may be assessed reliably.
Gann BL H 40 Wood Moisture Meter
The BL H 40 unit is a resistance-based wood moisture meter. It is used for precisely measuring sawn timber (up to 180 mm in thickness), chipboards, and veneers before and after processing.
The moisture meter is equipped with a wood temperature compensation, which automatically adjusts the measured value to the set temperature (of the respective object).
Particularly suited to be used in joiner's workshops, by parquet reclining or painting contractors.
Gann M 18 Ram-in Electrode
The M 18 is a ram-in electrode for measuring wood moisture. It is based on the resistance principle of measurement and can be connected to all corresponding measuring devices.
The electrode is suitable for measuring the moisture in thick wood and in hardwood (up to 180 mm).
The user should put his palm on the top of the electrode to keep it in its position. Then it be rammed into the wood by moving the handle up and down.
Gann M 20 Drive-in Electrode
The M 20 is a drive-in electrode for measuring wood moisture and building moisture. It is based on the resistance principle of measurement and can be connected to all corresponding measuring devices.
The electrode is suitable for measuring the moisture of sawn timber (up to 50 mm in thickness), chipboard or OSB, and parquet for example. By means of a suitable impact device (e.g. a hammer), the electrode can also be driven into hard woods such as beech.
It can also be used for measurements in soft set building materials (e.g. plasters, gypsum or aerated concrete) as well as insulating materials.
