T4000 Multifunction Measuring Device is a proffessional measuring device with interchangeable sensors for humidity, climate, and wood moisture measurements as well as leak detection. What the T4000 can do

Dual-tone microwave measurement

In combination with the newly developed microwave sensor, the T4000 measures two depths simultaneously with each measurement (up to approx. 10 cm and up to 30 cm). For example, with a damp basement wall, you can immediately see: Is the moisture coming from outside (damaged sealing) or from inside (condensation)? This avoids misjudgments, saves diagnostic time and costs.

H₂ tracer gas detection

The detection function is integrated in the device. In combination with the optional H₂ tracer gas sensor, it enables professional localisation of hidden pipe leaks under screeds or in walls.

Heated climate sensors

The climate sensors have an integrated heating function, allowing them to self-clean, for example, after oversaturation. This reduces maintenance effort and regular returns.

Over-the-air updates

You install software updates wirelessly via Bluetooth or microSD card. This way, you receive new functions and sensor support without having to send in the device.

Almost unlimited memory

The internal memory can be expanded with a microSD card. This enables long-term data logging over years – practically unlimited storage capacity for continuous monitoring tasks.

Three methods for material moisture measurement in one device

The T4000 offers three different measuring methods to determine material moisture for different requirements:

Capacitive measurement detects moisture indicatively up to 4 cm depth. Simply place the sensor, read the value – without drill holes. Ideal for quick checks on large areas.

Dual-tone depth measurement measures with microwave technology up to 30 cm deep – detecting two depths simultaneously. This lets you immediately recognise whether hidden moisture is a surface or depth problem.

Electrode measurement provides indicative measurement results for building materials as well as standard-compliant precision values, especially for wood. With over 200 stored wood types and automatic temperature compensation, you receive directly usable measurement values.

For T3000 users

If you are already working with the T3000: your existing sensors continue to work with the T4000 – and vice versa! Using optional adapter cables, both existing T3000 sensors can be used with the T4000 and new T4000 sensors with the T3000. The menu structure is familiar, so no training is required.
