August saw a fantastic turn out to the Flood House course in Mackay with 27 eager students from as far away as New Zealand and Perth.

During the 3.5 days we showcased many different ways of drying, creating seven drying chambers with different methods of drying for each chamber:

Dehumidification and Axial Fan drying
Target heat drying
Controlled injection heat drying
Full area heat and exhaust drying
Air exchange drying
Injection drying into target mats
Injection drying with dehumidification

We also went through all the different ways of checking for moisture:

Hammer probing
Dialectic non-invasive readings
In-depth hygrometer readings
Brass brush readings
Insulated rods with conductivity paste readings
Hygrometer readings
Microwave meter readings
Non-invasive specific gravity readings
Particle counter readings
Infrared pictures
